What did you think of the new ep? The animation? The plot? The reference to racing Him on the motorcycle? The singing & rump shaking? Etc.

When I noticed the animation had changed I thought it would bother me, but it didn't. I had a couple of laughs. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Yeah, I don't give a crap about spoilers. If you don't wanna know, don't read it.

Seen only the speedy version *since Scandinavia had no marathon nor special.* but DAMN I loved it too! :XD: Spotted many cameos and references regardless of the speed... My only nitpick was the ending that seemed a bit plain.

And Him on his bike = SOMEBODY PLZ DO SEXY FANART OF IT!!! :icongwahplz:

Well the bad news is I didn't get to see it the night it was on due to my TV being broken :tears:, but the good news is I just finished watching it off of a torrent and it was GREAT! =D You could kinda tell that it was done in Foster's animation now but it still didn't look that different from before (in fact it really reminded me of how the show looked during it's 1st season). And for something new this was truely the most clever and hilarious thing to come out of CN in a LONG time! From Professor Utonium's go-kart that shoots turtle shells like in the "Mario Kart" games to Mojo Jojo singing to "Everybody Wants to Rule the World". :XD: I can't say enough how happy :iconcmcc: made me for doing all this. His show had entertained us for a long time and he ended it in a good way (and his marathon even brought back a sparkle of the old CN in the emberrassing trash heap it is today). As the title says, The Powerpuff Girls DO rule! ;-)

BTW, when the girls started feeling bad about fighting over the key you finally get to see a quick glimse of Ms. Bellum's face before she turns away. Just her lips and an eyelash, but still... :o

That was certainly fast-paced and zany. Tons o' jokes, silly facial expressions. The series was only like that, like, 40% of the time. It had me laughing the whole time.

It may be just me, but when McCracken writes an episode himself it's always fantastic. But whenever someone else writes an episode it's almost like McC is afraid to tell them when they have a bad idea. Felt like Foster's Home had the same problem, and I just never watched the show again after its first season because the series didn't live up to the premise presented in the pilot-movie.

I missed that one, I need to see it. I was a fan of PPG back when they had actual cartoons on CN.

I liked it. The animation change was noticeable, but still subtle enough to not bother me. I noticed more the difference in some of the voices. I would have liked something a bit, I don't know, more to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Whoop-Ass Girls, but the marathon was great. It was nice to see the girls again. :D

I loved it. The animation style was refreshing and yet reminiscent of the past 4 seasons. Seems Craig decided to ditch the post-movie style and go back in time, just with a slightly more updated look.

Anyway, the many references were brilliant, from Mario kart to Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

Loved the twist at the end.

You mean a new ep of PPG or PPG generation Z?

The original PPG show.

This is supposed to be the final, concluding episode which Craig once said he wanted to make.

It's up to Craig now to decide whether he truly wants this to be the end of all.

I stumbled on it by accident, noticed the animation was a lot different, and from the dramatic prairie dog reference realized it couldn't possibly be an old episode. That said, it was pretty awesome.

The moment I heard that it was in Flash, I started questioning whether or not this would be worth watching. I remember what Sam Register did to both Dexter and the Powerpuffs, and I didn't want to sit through something like that again.

It was rather enjoyable, though, as the animation was pretty smooth in execution...still awkward to see, considering the PPG, but it was still good.

I liked the meme references throughout this, the show even starting with the "Dramatic Prairie Dog" effect that Mojo Jojo came with. A convenient plot (which I had to stop thinking about to keep from questioning it), old villain appearances, a Wacky Race (Mojo's tank design was great), Mach 5 steering wheel, turtle shells...and all of this is in about the first 10 or 12 minutes of the episode.

I did not see the twist with Mojo coming near the end, but I did see his "change" coming at the end. Dancing wasn't so bad, even though his tongue and devil horns maneuver was the best one to me.

So, yeah, a lot of good, maybe one or two things that I want to question, but it's an overall success. Well worth watching, especially to those who grew up on the show.

Im-effing-credible. All the references, both to older episodes as well as to other things made my inner geek terribly happy, and I think I freaked a bunch of people out by yelling when that koopa shell shot out of the dune buggy. Priceless. Plus, I thought the animation was pretty tight, especially for Flash when so many shows use the cheats and tweens.

So yeah, a few minor problems maybe, but two thumbs up from me! :D

PPG has always been about the joy of animation, even on a TV-sized budget. The anniversary special was a reminder of all that. Very nice.

I liked it actually I guess that Craig made it in Flash to get to the deadline of when the episode would be completed.

The ending was something I did not expect.

Hahaha.... all of Craig's stuff is funny, and since this episode was exclusively created and directed by him, I had great expectations for it. I thought the episode in general was a bit rushed, as they were trying to shove almost all the characters in and give them all a bit of limelight... but I suppose that's what made it funny; the uber zaniness and chaos that ensued had me thinking of Foster's hilarity. As for the animation, very smooth and clean... could definitely see the difference right off the bat.
Although, I must admit some of the "in-jokes" were lost on me....

I thought it was really good. The pop culture references didn't seem out of place at all, and if anything, made me laugh. (Especially the dramatic chipmunk bit.)

Now all I gotta do is wait for it to come on again so I can record it.
