It's annoying yes, but if you want to get mad then get mad at the spammers who started it and all the idiots who clicked on the links, forcing the IT folks to come up with the quickest solution possible to protect users and the website.
At first I wasn't sure what everyone was complaining about, then I tried clicking on a link...stupid feature...I'm guessing this is thanks to all the people that fell for that damn virus/phising program that was disguised as a comment.
it's mostly an annoying safety feature DA introduced in response to those hacked comments that lead to unsafe websites I think....annoying, yes, especially if it's a link to a youtube website or something.
Well, you know the reason why they did it. It's all those new phishing tricks that have been grabbing up account passwords right and left. This way, people have to pay attention to where a link leads and so have a harder time getting hijacked. I still don't think it's a very good fix for the problem, but I can certainly see why they did it.
