Even with all of the people who do oekaki stuff well, there are plenty of people who are beginners, or want better line quality, or rely on more advanced brushes, and so I made tutorial on some good, old fashioned, simple but effective, single layer, type oekaki drawing. It's quick, easy, and tablet-free fun. Don't expect to find anything advanced, for it's a beginner's guide, and I'm not advanced enough at anything myself to do anything terribly advanced. I think I'll link this'n too, but I'll leave the comments on, though I don't reckon there's much to say about it.

Be warned, it's one long vertical file. Spelling errors may occur.

Very cool. I never really warmed up to oekaki, it's so much easier to use Photoshop! X(

And I never knew how to use the mask! ^^;

I've been waiting for something like this for quite some time, as I wanted to try Oekaki drawing a long time ago, but never got the hang of it, as I simply didn't knew what options were for what purpose.

Hopefully, this will get me started, thanks. :)

That's a very helpful guide. I might wanna use your guide once I get my Wacom tablet. At this time, I just use my mouse to color. :P

This is the first time anybody has EVER told me what the HELL the mask tool is ofr. I still don't know how well I could use it, but this certainly gave me a good idea. THanks!

I wish this had been out sooner. I learned my oekaki that hard way. This is an extremly helpful guide and should be very usefull for beginners!
